Barack Obama and John McCain spoke Wednesday at the 63rd Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner, and were well-recieved. One of Obama's quotes in piticular got the crowd roaring:

In New York State’s Rensselaer County, near Albany, the democratic presidential candidate appears on about 100 ballots issued today as "Barack Osama." The ballots had been proof-read by three groups of people. If voters request a new ballot, they will be sent one immediatley.

Palin Abused Power

A state investigator concluded today that Sarah Palin's efforts to get Mike Wooten fired were an abuse of power. Wooten was married to Palin's sister, and after a rough divorce and custody battle, Palin made efforts to fire the trooper.
